League Season 1 is a wrap and what a season it was!

If you've been looking for something fun to do in Karratha, here's your sign, because Karratha Indoor Golf has just wrapped up League Season 1 for the year, and honestly, it was an absolute blast.

We mixed things up with the format this year. Division 1 players went head-to-head on pure stroke play — no handicap, no excuses, just raw golf. And when the dust settled, it was Anders Hansen who came out on top and took home the Division 1 trophy. Well played Anders, you earned it.

Over in Division 2, Nick Hegan claimed the championship, with a special shoutout to Simmo who stepped in to play on Nick's behalf and absolutely delivered. That's the kind of mateship that makes league nights so good. Nick walks away with $500 to spend with our league partner Mizuno.

Rounding out the podium, Kyle Gustafsson took out Division 3 and pocketed a cool $250 with Mizuno to put towards some new gear. Kyle, the clubs are waiting.

A massive thanks to our Season 1 sponsor Mizuno for backing the league and putting up some seriously good prizes. If you know golf gear, you know Mizuno — and our winners are very well looked after.

Whether you're a seasoned golfer or someone who's always been curious about the game, KIG League is one of the most fun things you can do in Karratha. The atmosphere is relaxed, the competition is real, and you don't need perfect weather or a full 18 holes to have a great time, just show up, swing, and see what you've got.

Season 2 is on the horizon. Will your name be on the leaderboard?

👉 Come in for a hit and ask us about joining the next season, we'd love to have you.
